Each of these shows has its own unique character. Every one is worth your attention. I've added some commentary based on my personal experience. Be sure you tell me when you come to my booth that you read about the show on this website.

April 9,10 & 11, Sugarloaf at the Montgomery County
Fairgrounds, Gaithersburg, Maryland*

This show kicks off my 2010 show season. This is a huge show with a lot of variety. Bring comfortable shoes and plan to do a lot of walking. The show is held in multiple buildings, spread out over a large fairgrounds. I have a new booth this year - #96 - and will have a huge selection of work for you to see.

April 16, 17 & 18, Sugarloaf at the Maryland State Fairgrounds,
Timmonium, Maryland*

My first showing in Baltimore this year. This is a big show all under one roof. Very comfortable and logical layout makes this a very enjoyable show to attend. Lots to see and great variety. I’ll be in Booth #124.

May 1 & 2, Arts in the Park, Byrd Park, Richmond, Virginia
An absolutely delightful show to do and to attend. Park at U of R Stadium and take the convenient shuttle over to the park and avoid the parking hassle. Huge show set up under the towering tulip poplars in the park. Some garbage, but lots of great creative offerings. I’ll have some dynamite new work for you, so come early on Saturday. I’m in the first row of artists along Rugby Road at the very front of the park.

May 8 & 9, Bethesda Fine Art Festival
This is a “don’t miss” festival in the heart of Bethesda Triangle. My booth is at the corner of Norfolk and Auburn, right in front of Steamers’ restaurant. Come early and park in the parking decks, which are free on the weekend.

May 15 & 16, Northern Virginia Fine Arts Festival, Reston Town Center
This is the best of the best: the one fair you don’t want to miss. Each year more than 2000 artists, from all over the country, compete to win one of the 175 booths in this show. I’ll be there with bells on, come see me. I’ll be on the main drag, downtown Reston near Pizza Uno.

June 5 & 6, Frederick Festival of the Arts, On the Canal, Frederck, Maryland
This free show just gets better every year. Come early to downtown, right on the canal and enjoy a great show, restaurants and music.

June 12 & 13, Annapolis Arts & Craft Festival, At the Navy Marine Corps Stadium*
Brand new for this year! Juried festival features regions’ best artisans as well as fine cuisine, wine tastings and live entertainment. For more info: info@annapolisartsandcraftsfestival.com

June 16-19, Virginia Beach Boardwalk Art Festival
Talk about a fun show!! Artists’ booths from one end of the boardwalk to the other. Park at the public lot on Pacific between 18th and 19th Streets and walk the block to the beach and my booth #1812. Lots of new work for this show!

September 11 & 12, Alexandria Festival of the Arts
This 8th Annual Festival is rapidly gaining a reputation as one of the area’s best, drawing artists from all over the United States. Come early to King Street, Old Town, enjoy the art and a great lunch or dinner at one of the many superb restaurants.

October 1-3, Sugarloaf Timmonium at the Maryland State Fairgrounds*

Best of the Fall festivals, located on Bethesda Avenue and adjacent streets, this show draws the best from around the country. Put this one on your “don’t miss” list.

November 19-20, 46th Annual Craft & Design Show, Richmond Virginia Science Museum*

December 4 & 5, Artist’s Open Studio, Washington Grove, Maryland
Come see where I live and where I produce my work. I tell everyone that this is the big event of the year, an opportunity to see the largest and most varied selection of my work anytime, anywhere. December 10-12, Sugarloaf, Chantilly, VA at the Dulles Expo Center*
